Virtual Branch Service Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Pasadena Service Federal Credit Union (PSFCU) Virtual Branch. This is an internet based financial service, bringing you 24-hour online access to your PSFCU accounts. This service is free to all members.

The following terms and conditions govern the manner in which Pasadena Service Federal Credit Union (Us, We, Our) will provide Virtual Branch (home banking services) to you:

You authorize us to utilize IntegraSys to provide Virtual Branch to you on our behalf.

Account access through Virtual Branch is a FREE service.

Your Liability
By using Internet account access, you agree to accept responsibility for protecting the integrity of your password, in order to prevent unauthorized transaction and/or account access. You also agree that the credit union may revoke your Internet account access if unauthorized account access and/or transactions occur as the apparent result of your negligence in safeguarding the password. The credit union is not liable for any act, failure to act, or delay in acting if it is caused, in whole or in part, by any cause beyond the credit union’s reasonable control.

Granting access to your account via the Internet to any other person will make you financially liable for all unauthorized access, losses, or misuse of the account, until reported to the credit union.

Tell the credit union at once if you believe your account number, password, or any record thereof, has been lost or stolen, or if your account has been accessed without your authority. Telephoning is the best way of keeping your possible losses down, but you may also notify us via the Internet or by writing to the address below. You could lose all the money in your accounts, but if you tell us within two (2) business days of the loss, theft, or unauthorized access, you can lose no more than $50 if someone accessed your account without your permission. If you do NOT tell us within two (2) business days after you learn of the unauthorized access, and we can prove we could have stopped someone from accessing your account without your permission if you had told us, you could lose as much as $500.

If you statement shows any electronic fund transfers you did not make or authorize to be made, tell us at once. If you do not tell us within 60 days after the statement was mailed to you, you may not get back any money you lost after the 60 days if we can prove that we could have stopped someone from taking the money if you had told us in time. If a good reason kept you from telling us, we may extend the time periods.

Our Liability
Unless otherwise required by law, the liability of Pasadena Service Federal Credit Union hereunder shall be limited to interest on the amount that was not transacted in a timely manner from the date the transaction was instructed to occur to the date the transaction actually occurred or cancelled. If an erroneous transaction was made, or if an unauthorized transaction was made after we have received and had reasonable opportunity to act upon notice of such unauthorized transaction, our liability shall be limited to a refund of the erroneously transacted amount plus daily interest up to sixty (60) calendar days. Interest paid under this section shall be calculated at the current interest rate being paid on the account.


New/Revised Services or Service Terms and Conditions
We may, from time to time, introduce new services or revise the existing services. We shall notify you of the existence of these new or revised services. By using these services when they become available, you agree to be bound by the obligations concerning these services.

We have the right to change this agreement at any time by notice mailed to you at the last address shown for the account on the credit union’s records, by posting notice in branches of the credit union, or as otherwise permitted by law.

Termination of Service
The credit union has the right to terminate this agreement at any time. You may terminate this agreement by written notice to the Pasadena Service FCU. You remain obligated for any payments due to the Pasadena Service FCU upon termination.

Errors and Questions
In case of any errors or questions regarding transactions made on Virtual Branch online banking, please call or write us at the telephone and address listed below as soon as you can. We must hear from you no later than sixty (60) days after we sent the FIRST statement on which the problem or error appeared. Please include the following information when writing:

  • Your name and account number.
  • Describe the error or the transaction amount you are unsure about, and explain in detail why you believe it is an error.
  • State the dollar amount of the suspected error.
  • State the date (or approximate date) the suspected error took place.

If you tell us orally, we may require that you send us your complaint or question in writing within ten (10) business days. We will tell you the results of our investigation within ten (10) business days and correct any error promptly. If we need more time, we may take up to forty-five (45) days to investigate the complaint, but you will have the use of the funds in question after the ten (10) business days. If we ask you to put your complaint or question in writing and we do not receive it within ten (10) business days, we may not credit your account during the investigation.

If we decide that there was no error, we will send you a written explanation within three (3) business days after we finish our investigation. You may ask for copies of documents that we used in our investigation.
