Welcome to Union Settlement Federal Credit Union Home Banking. We are pleased to offer you a convenient way to check balances, transfer funds, and view account history. There is no charge for this service. To enroll, please contact Union Settlement Federal Credit Union at 237 East 104th Street NY, NY 10029 or call us at 212-828-6061/ 2. Once you have enrolled in Home Banking, you may sign up for Bill Payment Service. In addition to checking balances, transferring funds, and viewing account history, Bill Payment Service allows you to set-up and pay bills all from one convenient site. There is a monthly fee for the Bill Payment Service of $5.95. Enrollment for the Bill Payment Service is completed from within the Union Settlement Federal Credit Union Home Banking service.
System Requirements
For optimum performance, it is recommended that your system meet the following criteria:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer at version level 6.0 or higher.
- Netscape 6.1 or higher.
- The system browser must allow for 128-bit encryption.
Enrolling with Union Settlement Federal Credit Union Home Banking
To subscribe to Home Banking, simply call Union Settlement Federal Credit Union at 212-828-6061/ 2. Once you receive your User ID and Security Code, the service will be immediately available. The first time you access Home Banking you must change your temporary Security Code to combination of eight (8) letters and numbers in length, with at least 2 Letters and 2 Numbers. Protect this code just as you do for your ATM PIN number and change it often. If you forget your Security Code, contact Union Settlement Federal Credit Union and we will reset your code after confirming your identity. In the event you lose or forget your Security Code, contact the Credit Union to request a temporary Security Code to be issued. USFCU reserves the right to require written application for any new or replacement security code. If you fail to maintain the Security Code and the Credit Union suffers a loss, we may terminate your Home Banking access immediately. USFCU will not be responsible for any losses due to member failure to maintain their User ID or Security Code.
The member is liable to the Credit Union for any loss; cost or expense incurred resulting from the member’s failure to follow this agreement. The member authorizes the Credit Union to deduct any such loss, costs or expenses from their account without prior notice. If we bring a legal action to collect any amount due or to enforce this agreement, the Credit Union is entitled, subject to applicable law, to payment of reasonable attorney’s fees and costs, including fees on any appeal, bankruptcy proceedings and any post-judgment collection actions.
Disclosure
The following disclosure and agreement is to explain the contract that protects the member’s and Credit Union’s rights and responsibilities concerning these electronic services. Please carefully read and make sure you understand this agreement and disclosure. The word Member means anyone who signs up for Home Banking as applicants, joint owners, or any authorized users. The word Account refers to any one or more share and share draft accounts a member has with the Credit Union. EFT or Electronic Funds Transfers are electronically initiated transfers of money from your account through the electronic transfer services described in these terms and conditions throughout this disclosure. By using any EFT service, each member, jointly and severally, agree to the terms and conditions and any amendments of the EFT services offered.
Home Banking allows you to access and manage your Credit Union accounts online. You will have access to your accounts 24/7 from anywhere in the USA, via the Internet. You are able to check the balances of all your accounts as well as review transactions and transfer funds. You can also communicate with the Credit Union through a secure email location. All of this from the comfort of your home or wherever your life takes you. This service will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, EXCEPT when off line due to maintenance or major unforeseen events, such as, but not limited to earthquakes, fires, floods, computer failures, electrical interruptions, telephone service interruptions or acts of God, which may cause this system to become unavailable. If this service is not functioning, try accessing your account through our audio response system.
QUESTIONS/ERRORS
If the member believes there has been an error or unauthorized transfer of funds to or from any of their accounts the following procedures should be followed:
- Telephone the Credit Union at 212-828-6061/2 during regular business hours.

If you think there is an error on your statement you will have 60 days after you receive the first statement on which the problem or error appeared.
- Give us your name and account number.
- Describe the error or questioned information and explain why you are questioning it or believe it to be in error.
- Provide us with the dollar amount and any identifying numbers.
- Use Message Center within Home Banking to contact the Credit Union Staff.
This agreement is governed by the USFCU Bylaws, federal laws and regulations, the laws and regulations of the State of New York and local clearinghouse rules, as amended this agreement shall be brought in the county in which the Credit Union is located.
TERMINATION OF EFT SERVICES
Termination may occur at any time by notifying USFCU in writing. It is the member’s responsibility to notify any participating merchants of the revocation of authority regarding bill payment transfers. The USFCU may terminate this agreement at any time by notifying the member orally or in writing. If USFCU terminates this agreement, we may notify any participating merchants making pre-authorized debits or credits to any of your accounts that this agreement has been terminated and USFCU will not accept any further pre-authorized transaction instructions. Whether the member or USFCU terminates this agreement, the termination shall not affect your obligations under this agreement for any EFT’s made prior to termination.
FEES AND CHARGES
There may be charges for certain Electronic Funds Transfer services. These fees may change and all members will be notified of the changes as required by applicable law. Please refer to the rate and fee schedule for all applicable fees.
PERIODIC STATEMENTS
Transfers and withdrawals made through Home Banking will be recorded on your periodic statement. You will receive a monthly statement for all accounts having any electronic transaction.
