What is Union Settlement Federal Credit Union (USFCU) Home Banking?
Make Union Settlement Federal Credit Union Home Banking is a financial service that lets you manage your finances right online. It provides you access to your account, 24-hours-a-day from anywhere you have Internet access. Through Union Settlement Federal Credit Union Home Banking you can access your accounts online to check balances, review transactions, transfer funds, obtain loan balances, and with our Union Settlement Federal Credit Union Bill Payment Service, you can pay bills – now or schedule them for the future, and more. Loan advances must be requested by contacting the credit union directly by calling us at 212-828-6061/2 or by stopping by the office.

Which accounts can I access through USFCU Home Banking?
Basically any Union Settlement Federal Credit Union account balances can be viewed online. These accounts include share (savings), share-draft (checking), Christmas club, loans, and CD’s. Transfers between your share-draft, loan and vacation club accounts can be made online. Should you require transfers between any of your other accounts, please contact USFCU directly. Loan advances must be requested by contacting the credit union directly at 212-828-6061/2 or by stopping by the office.

What are the eligibility requirements to use USFCU Home Banking and the USFCU Bill Payment Service?
Anyone who currently has an account with USFCU can view their account information through USFCU Home Banking via the Internet. The USFCU Bill Payment Service is available to those members that have a USFCU Share Draft account.

What is the Enrollment process for USFCU Home Banking?
To enroll, simply contact USFCU at 212-828-6061/2 and request a User ID number and a Security Code.

If you want to use Bill Pay you must have a share draft account with the Credit Union and allow 3 full business days for authorization.

Are there any fees associated with enrolling in USFCU Home Banking and USFCU Bill Payment?
USFCU Home Banking and Bill Payment is free to all members.

How do I setup to use Bill Pay services?
If you want to use Bill Pay you must have a share draft/ checking account with the Credit Union and allow 3 full business days for authorization.

Send a secure message to Union Settlement Federal Credit Union, by logging in to your account, looking under CONTACT US. Select out going messages enter your message and submit it on a secured line. Further verification maybe required.

How much time is needed to allow for USFCU Bill Payments to be received by a merchant?
Initially, payments made to first time payees should be made 7 business days prior to their due date. Once the payee is established and identified as either accepting electronic payments or non-electronic payments, subsequent payments can follow the standard Bill Payment schedule.

Once payees have been set up to receive payments through the Bill Payment Service, you should allow ample time for the payee to receive payment prior to the due date.

  • Electronic Payments

  • Payees who accept payments electronically should be scheduled for payment at least five business days prior to the due date.
  • Non-Electronic Payments

  • Payees who receive check payments should be scheduled for payment at least seven business days prior to the due date.

How current is the information I obtain through USFCU Home Banking deleteBranch?
Payment transactions entered after1:00 pm EST will not be processed until the following business day. Funds must be available in your checking account to process payments; overdraft lines of credit and share protection accounts are not accessible through bill pay. Merchants periodically change their payment addresses. Before making payment, please verify that the address printed on your bill matches the merchant address listed on USFCU Virtual Branch.

Payments mailed to incorrect addresses may result in delayed payments and additional fees charged to your account.

When trying to access Home Banking site I entered the address, but it says “can’t find address”. What’s wrong?
Make sure you have entered https://www.netit.financial-net.com/unionsettfcu/ exactly. The “s” in https represents secure. It is required to access this site in a secure environment.

Is this a secured site?
Home Banking uses Secured Socket Layer (SSL) which provides authentication to ensure you are always in communication with our server. SSL is used to ensure data integrity, so your information reaches only you without being altered or tampered with. If the SSL detects alterations or tampering from outside the connection is broken. It also uses encryption which scrambles the data transmissions so only you can read it and no one else.

When you are in an encrypted portion of USFCU Home Banking, and using Netscape, an image of a key appears solid with a blue background in the lower right hand corner of the browser window. This means your browser is secure. With Microsoft Explorer, you will see a padlock in the lower right corner of the browser window. When you are on an encrypted portion of USFCU Home Banking, the padlock appears in yellow.

Are there any specific system requirements to use Home Banking?
In addition to a computer you will need Internet access and a browser with 128-bit encryption such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape. Make sure you have a current version of either browser.

How do I change my Security Code?
After entering your current ID and Security Code on the Login screen. Go to Personal Information under PERSONAL OPTIONS then select Change security code. Enter your current code and then enter the new code you want. You will enter it again in order to verify the change.

How do I send a message to the Credit Union?
Send a secure message to Union Settlement Federal Credit Union, by logging in to your account, looking under CONTACT US. Select out going messages, you can then enter your message and submit it on a secured line and we will respond back to you as soon as possible. Our message will return to you under your member number.

How do I know when I have a message?
Once you have logged onto USFCU Home Banking, a message envelope link will appear notifying you of new messages. When you click on the message link, you will see a list of messages.

Can I import the information from USFCU Home Banking into Microsoft money or Quicken programs?
Yes, you can download your Account History into Microsoft Money or Quicken Programs. The download file can be initiated from the Account Summary/Account History screen.

NOTE: Microsoft Money and Quicken programs are NOT a supported product of USFCU Home Banking. Any questions or problems pertaining to these specific applications should be directed to the manufacturers of these products.
