Terms and Conditions
This agreement and disclosure exclusively regulates FIRE and informs you of your rights and responsibilities and the terms and conditions associated with using this service.
You agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions contained herein. You also agree to be bound by the terms and conditions in the St. Louis Firefighters and Community Credit Union’s (hereafter STLFFCCU) membership and account agreements. You also agree to accept any future amendments to our present terms and conditions. You will be notified of any amendments to our terms and conditions through normal forms of notification.
FIRE
To use FIRE, you must have an account with STLFFCCU, access to Internet service and an e-mail address. FIRE is a service that lets you manage your STLFFCCU accounts online. It provides you access to your account 24 hours a day / seven days a week anywhere in the Unites States through the internet. With FIRE you can access your accounts online to obtain balances on all your STLFFCCU accounts, transfer funds between your savings and checking accounts, transfer funds from your savings or checking accounts to your STLFFCCU loans, and review transaction history on any STLFFCCU account (excluding MasterCard).
* In accordance with Regulation DD you are limited to six (6) withdrawals per month from your savings account(s). However; transfers INTO your savings account(s) are unlimited.
Security Codes
Upon enrollment, a User ID and eight (8) digit Security Code will be issued to you. It is your responsibility to change the Security Code immediately. STLFFCCU does not keep any record of any Security Codes, including the ones initially assigned to you. You, the member, accept full responsibility for the safekeeping of your Security Code. Your FIRE access will be stopped if at any time three unsuccessful attempts to log-in have occurred. You must contact a STLFFCCU employee at (314) 752-5444 to obtain a new temporary Security Code.
Security
STLFFCCU is committed to protecting the security and privacy of our members’ account information. We have provided multiple layers of defense and made certain several levels are enabled within the security framework. In spite of our efforts to ensure FIRE is secure, you do acknowledge that the Internet is inherently insecure. You understand the importance of your role in preventing misuse of your accounts through FIRE.
Member Liability
We reserve the right to terminate your FIRE service as well as other services with STLFFCCU if you fail to maintain security of your User ID and Security Code and STLFFCCU suffers a loss. STLFFCCU will not be responsible for any losses you may suffer due to your failure to maintain the safekeeping of your User ID and Security Code. FIRE service provides the capability for you to change your Security Code. To help safeguard your security, you should change your Security Code frequently.
Disclosure of Account Information to Third Parties
We will only disclose information to third parties concerning your account as follows: in order to comply with Government Agencies or Court orders, in order to verify the condition of your account such as with a Credit Bureau or if you give us your written permission.
Termination of Service
You may cancel this agreement and terminate your FIRE service with STLFFCCU at any time by providing STLFFCCU with notice. STLFFCCU may terminate its FIRE services to you by giving you advance notice of such termination.
Governing Laws
This agreement is made in the State of Missouri and shall be governed by State and Federal Regulations and Laws. In the event any one or more of the provisions of this Agreement shall for any reason be held invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable.
Fees and Charges
There is no fee for using the FIRE service. However, STLFFCCU reserves the right to impose or change any fee structure with or without notice as required by law.
System Information
It is recommended that your system meet the following criteria for optimum performance:
Access to FIRE may be unavailable from time to time due to scheduled maintenance or upgrades, unforeseen maintenance or system outages from electrical failure, storms, fires, computer failures etc.
STLFFCCU will make all reasonable efforts to ensure the availability of FIRE, but is in no way liable for the unavailability of FIRE or any consequential damages that may result. STLFFCCU is not responsible for any errors or failures due to any malfunctions of your personal computer, software or Internet service.
