Getting Started
CCSE Online allows you to perform various financial transactions, and communicate with the credit union staff quickly and easily from the comfort of your home or wherever you may be. These services provide secure access at any hour of the day. When you have questions or need help, you have several options.

Enrolling With CCSE Online
Contact the credit union to enroll. You will receive a User ID and a temporary Security Code. The first time you access your account you must change the temporary Security Code to another code you select. It must to be an 8-digit number. Protect this code just as you do for your ATM PIN number and change it often. If you forget your Security Code contact the credit union and a staff member will reset your User ID pin after confirming your identity. To access this service, go to www.ccseonline.com and click the Bank Express Link. Enter your account number in the User ID field and your 8-digit pin in the Security Code field. If you are a new Internet Banking user you will be asked a few questions so you can be enrolled.

Internet Banking
CCSE Online allows you to review account balances and history, transfer funds, and look at transfer history.

The Account Summary feature tells you the account number and account type of the accounts you are using with Internet Banking. When you select an account from the list you get the current and available balance for that account.

The Account History feature enables you to review account history that CCSE Federal Credit Union maintains for each account.

The Account Transfer Funds feature allows immediate transfers. You are notified if the transfer is successful while you are on-line.

Services
Use of the Internet Banking Services feature to change personal options such as name, address, and e-mail address. This information is changed on the CCSE Online service only. You must also notify the credit union directly of any changes.

Security Levels
CCSE Federal Credit Union is pleased to offer CCSE Online Banking via the Internet. This requires a solid security framework to protect you and our credit union from outside intrusions. There are several levels of security within our framework. User Level deals with cryptography and Netscape’s Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol and is the first line of defense used by all members accessing CCSE Online. Server Level focuses on firewalls, filtering routers and our trusted operation system. Host Level deals specifically with our CCSE Online services and the processing of secured financial transactions.

User Level
To ensure confidentiality of information sent across the public internet you will be required to use a fully SSL compliant browser such as Netscape Navigator 6.1 or higher or Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher. SSL (Secured Socket Layer) is an open protocol developed to provide a tally signed certificate, which ensures that you are truly a secured channel for communication with our Internet server. Utilizing highly effective cryptography techniques between your browser and our server ensure that the information being passed is authentic, cannot be deciphered, and has not been altered en-route. SSL also utilizes a digitally signed certificate that ensures that you are truly communicating with the Internet Banking Server and not a third party trying to intercept the transaction.

After a secure connection has been established between your browser and our server you then provide a valid User ID and Security Code to gain access to the services. This information is encrypted and a request to log onto the system is processed. It is important to protect your User ID and Security Code from others. You will be allowed three attempts to logon.

Server Level
All transactions sent to CCSE Online must first pass through a filtering router system. These routers automatically direct the request to the appropriate server after ensuring the access type is through a secured browser. The router verifies the source and destination of each network packet and manages the authorization process of letting packets through. They also prohibit all other types of Internet access methods at this point. This process blocks all non-secured activity and defends against inappropriate access to the server.

Our server is protected using the latest firewall platform. It defends against every kind of system intrusion and effectively isolates all but approved member financial requests. The platform secures the hardware running the Internet banking applications and prevents associated attacks against all systems connected to the server.

Host Level
Upon passing through the Internet server the transaction is sent through a secure, dedicated communication line to our transaction server, which verifies our member identity. Once authenticated the member is allowed to process authorized transactions.
